Resume Roast for Frontend Developers

Frontend Developer resumes get judged twice: once on paper and once when the recruiter clicks your portfolio link. No link, and they assume the work is not worth showing. A slow, broken link is worse. Before you polish another bullet about React, make sure the thing you built loads fast and works on a phone, because that is the audition.

What Gabe checks first on a Frontend Developer resume

Put a working portfolio or live project link near the top, and test it on mobile first, since that is where half your reviewers will open it.
Name the framework and what you shipped with it: pages, components, load-time wins. React alone is a keyword, React plus a shipped checkout flow is evidence.
Mention accessibility or performance work with a metric, like a Lighthouse score you raised. Few frontend resumes do, and reviewers notice the one that does.
